Japanese rock star Miyavi is set to meet Ha Jung-woo on screen.
On the 12th, the team behind tvN’s new Sat–Sun drama Mad Concrete Dreams (hereafter "Mad Concrete Dreams") unveiled stills from Miyavi’s special appearance.
This marks Miyavi’s first-ever role in a Korean drama, and he’s set to steal the spotlight as a villain. Miyavi plays Morgan Lee, an executive director at Real Capital—a global firm overseeing the redevelopment of Sejeong-ro, where Ki Su-jong’s (Ha Jung-woo) building stands. Morgan Lee is Yona’s (Shim Eun-kyung) boss, a cold, self-reliant figure who trusts no one but himself and harbors a fierce desire to protect his position.
The newly released stills showcase Real Capital’s by-any-means-necessary approach to the redevelopment project. All eyes are on the premiere to see what shockwaves their scheme will unleash on Ki Su-jong.
Meanwhile, "Mad Concrete Dreams" premieres Saturday the 14th at 9:10 p.m.
