BTS will open 7,000 additional standing spots for their blockbuster concert at Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Square, fueling hype for the group’s high-profile comeback.

According to BigHit Music on the 12th, the extra standing sections for 'BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG' on the 21st will extend south of the Sejong-daero Intersection, spanning from Gwanghwamun Station on Seoul Subway Line 5 to the vicinity of City Hall Station on Line 1.

Including the newly added 7,000 spots, the concert will host a total of 22,000 attendees. Fans can watch via massive on-site LED screens, and free tickets will be available for reservation at 8 p.m. through NOL Ticket. Those who already secured previous reservations will be restricted from booking again.

Authorities expect around 260,000 people to gather in and around Gwanghwamun Square on the day of the show. The Seoul Metropolitan Government is working with the central government and police on safety measures. Police will manage crowd entry through 29 designated corridors, and Seoul Metro will implement non-stop train passes at stations near the venue. HYBE will also deploy 4,300 safety personnel.

Nearby attractions—Gyeongbokgung Palace, the National Palace Museum of Korea, and the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History—will be closed that day. The musical Anna Karenina at the Sejong Center will also not run. The KT headquarters building, long seen as a prime viewing spot, will be completely closed for safety. The concert will be simulcast live on Netflix.

Meanwhile, BTS will release their fifth studio album, 'Arirang,' at 1 p.m. on March 20.
