Girl groups Hearts to Hearts and Kiki are appearing as full lineups on JTBC’s variety show Knowing Bros, promising a fresh burst of charm.
On the March 14 episode of Knowing Bros, the two groups—both recently climbing the music charts—join the cast for a lively, laughter-filled time. The members unleash their hidden variety skills with a mix of quirky talents and candid talk.
Hearts to Hearts and Kiki heat up the studio with everything from ventriloquism to a “three-second bun” hair trick and juggling. They even face off with the cast in a low-note battle, keeping the set roaring with laughter.
They also spill casting backstories. Kiki’s Kiya shares, "Jiyu was street-cast in Busan, and Sui was scouted via social media. We later found out that all five of us were picked by the same rookie development staffer," adding, "We only realized it while chatting one day, and it totally shocked us."
Hearts to Hearts member Ian opens up about working since childhood. "I’ve been a performer from a young age, so I worked as a creator and a kids’ model," she says. "I even took part in filming for You Quiz on the Block. I answered a street-interview question correctly and won prize money—but the segment ended up completely edited out," she reveals, drawing laughs.
Family anecdotes keep the fun going. Kiki’s Kiya says, "My younger brother keeps changing his bias every time our team makes a comeback," adding, "I always give the members a heads-up about it." In response, Hearts to Hearts’ Jueun adds with a laugh, "My older brother sends me praise after our stages, but his messenger profile photo is Jiyu."
Hearts to Hearts’ Yuha adds, "I went to visit my grandpa during break, and his YouTube search history had ‘Eina’ in it," showing just how supportive their families are.
