To mark its third anniversary, the film Rebound is officially returning to theaters on April 3.

Director Jang Hang-jun’s signature work, Rebound, is an inspiring true-story drama set against the 2012 National High School Basketball Championship. It follows a rookie coach and six players from the long-overlooked underdog Busan Jungang High School as they sprint through an intense eight-day run. Jang drew 10 million moviegoers with The King's Warden, cementing his status as a hit-making director, and this Rebound re-release puts him right back in the spotlight.

The film is also drawing attention for the fiery chemistry among its cast, led by Ahn Jae-hong as a clumsy yet wholehearted coach who lives and breathes basketball, alongside rising rookies Lee Shin-young and Jung Jin-woon.

The poster unveiled on the 16th captures the team’s blazing moment under a crisp blue sky, highlighted by the memorable tagline: "If you give up, it’s a lost point; if you grab it again, it becomes a rebound." On-court shots of the coach and players standing shoulder to shoulder underscore the power of teamwork.

Meanwhile, Rebound was honored at the 25th Udine Far East Film Festival, earning recognition for both its craftsmanship and mainstream appeal.
