The cutthroat survival game surrounding actor Ju Ji-hoon is finally coming to light.
Premiering on the 16th, Climax dives into an all-out war of desire raging inside a vicious power struggle. The series unravels an unpredictable cartel tying together prosecutors, chaebols, and the entertainment industry.
Ju Ji-hoon plays prosecutor Bang Tae-seop, a man barreling toward the apex of power, torn between icy ambition and raw human conflict. Ha Ji-won appears as top star Choo Sang-ah, whose shaken status forces her to confront a storm of inner turmoil.
The newly released stills crank up the tension. On a dark, rainy night, Bang Tae-seop stands in a cemetery, hinting at the spark of a larger incident. A conversation with Lee Yang-mi (played by Cha Joo-young) underscores the complexity of the power game, while Kwon Jong-wook’s (Oh Jung-se) gaze radiates a chilling presence. The arrival of Hwang Jung-won, portrayed by Nana, adds even more intrigue to the tangled relationships at the heart of the case.
Meanwhile, Climax drops on Disney+ on the 16th and airs on ENA at 10 p.m.
