On March 18, 2026, the YouTube channel 'Han Moon-cheol TV' uploaded a video titled "Episode 26694. A car making an illegal left turn slams into a pedestrian who was crossing on a walk signal."

In the afternoon of March 5 at the Cheondong Elementary School intersection in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, a pedestrian crossing with the walk signal was struck by a vehicle that made a left turn in violation of the light. The victim suffered serious injuries, including fractures to the leg and calf and abrasions to the jaw. At the scene, the driver allegedly tried to leave, while the passenger reportedly smirked and attempted to mask the smell of alcohol. Police on site used a breath detection device and confirmed results, but they did not meet the legal threshold for punishment, so no penalties were imposed. The victim says there has been no apology or remorse from the at-fault party and is considering legal action. The video also states that although police secured the dashcam footage from the offending vehicle, the victim's request to obtain it was denied. One viewer commented, "You should tip this off to the news." Another wrote, "Isn't it only right to disclose all investigation details transparently to the victim...?"
