A range of cutting-edge solutions is being rolled out to secure fire trucks' golden time.

On March 18, the 'Happy Morning Episode 1804' video uploaded to the Channel Aha (Health, Finance) YouTube channel highlighted the importance of the golden time for firefighting and life-saving, and introduced the latest technologies enabling it.

The video explains that the National Fire Agency has drawn up a comprehensive plan through 2026 to raise the rate of arrival within seven minutes to 69.4%. Through an intelligent dispatch system, it provides stall locations and optimal entry routes in traditional markets, and via the 119 Pass, crews can use dedicated cards to access apartment complexes and shorten response times.

Notably, an emergency vehicle priority signal system is being built to grant priority at intersections so fire trucks can pass without stopping. Authorities are also improving areas that are difficult for fire trucks to enter and requesting public cooperation through real-time emergency evacuation broadcasts, in an effort to secure the golden time as quickly as possible.

A National Fire Agency official said, "With these measures, our goal is to secure the golden time efficiently when fires and accidents occur and minimize casualties." They added, "Active public cooperation is essential," encouraging participation.
