Actor Yoo Yeon-seok captivated home viewers with a performance that swings between comedy and thriller.
Episode 3 of SBS’s Friday–Saturday drama Phantom Lawyer, which aired on the 20th, recorded 8.1% in the Seoul metropolitan area and peaked at 9.1% according to Nielsen Korea, topping its time slot. It also held No. 1 on Netflix’s 'Today’s Top 10,' proving its soaring popularity.
In this episode, Shin I-rang (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) welcomed a new client: the ghost of a high school girl, Kim Su-a (Oh Ye-ju). Fully stepping into his role as a 'ghost-specialist lawyer,' Shin I-rang drove the plot forward with a thrilling pace that kept viewers hooked.
One standout moment came when Shin I-rang reacted to a girl group track and flawlessly nailed IVE’s 'Love Dive' choreography, adding a burst of comedy. Brother-in-law Yoon Bong-su (Jeon Seok-ho), who hadn’t believed mother-in-law Park Kyung-hwa (Kim Mi-kyung), finally acknowledged the existence of ghosts after witnessing Shin I-rang become possessed.
