RIIZE just made history as the first K-pop boy group to perform at the world-renowned music festival Lollapalooza South America, instantly becoming one of the most talked-about acts of the event.
Fresh off their first world tour, RIIZE took the stage across all three Lollapalooza South America stops with noticeably upgraded live prowess. They delivered blockbuster sets at Argentina’s Buenos Aires ‘San Isidro Hippodrome’ on the 14th (local time), Chile’s Santiago ‘O’Higgins Park’ on the 15th, and Brazil’s São Paulo ‘Interlagos Racetrack’ on the 21st.
Backed by a live band, the members powered through a full hour of steady handheld mic live vocals and performance, showcasing 14 songs including ‘Get A Guitar’, ‘Talk Saxy’, ‘Siren’, ‘Impossible’, ‘Boom Boom Bass’, ‘Combo’, ‘Fly Up’, and ‘Fame’. They amped up the crowd by tailoring their ments in English, Spanish, and Portuguese for each show, actively engaging fans and turning up the heat.
Before their Lollapalooza Brazil appearance, RIIZE also staged a side show at Terra SP, serving up hit tracks. They took on on-the-spot song requests and sang directly for fans, creating intimate moments. Local audiences responded explosively, chanting Korean lyrics in unison and dancing along to the choreography.
Up next, RIIZE will represent the K-pop scene at major spring festivals, including Japan’s ‘The Performance’ on April 10–11, the ‘LOVESOME Festival’ on the 12th, and Thailand’s ‘K2O Songkran Music Festival’ on the 14th.
