The group NOWZ will make their first-ever appearance on Japanese variety TV.
NOWZ will meet local viewers through the ABEMA-exclusive special 'Congrats! A Deep-Dive Into 5th-Gen Rookie NOWZ's Charm in ABEMA' (祝! 日本デビュ? 第5世代ル?キ?NOWZの魅力を徹底解剖 in ABEMA), premiering at 9 p.m. on March 28 and April 4 on Japan’s leading OTT platform ABEMA.
Celebrating their Japanese debut, the special zeroes in on each member’s charms and is hosted by Hallyu radio DJ Masayuki Furuya. NOWZ will introduce their new album and take on a range of segments, including 'NOWZ Awards,' 'Double-Under Jump Rope,' and the 'NOWZ Challenge.'
On March 4, NOWZ launched their full-fledged push into the Japanese market with their debut EP 'NOWZ.' The title track 'AMMO (feat. YRD Leo)'—true to its name meaning 'ammunition'—is a dramatic hip-hop track, with choreography by Monica of dance crew PROWDMON, which drew major attention. They also appeared at 'The 42nd Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2026 SPRING/SUMMER' and performed during halftime at a KOBE STORKS pro basketball home game, holding fan events and wrapping their local promotions successfully.
Meanwhile, NOWZ will hold a fan concert, 'Run with me, NOW,' on the 28th at Myeonghwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
