In a shocking turn, actress Nana, formerly of After School, spoke up ahead of testifying as a witness in the court case over the home invasion at her residence.

Recently on social media, Nana wrote, "Something feels very wrong. If this is what the law says, I have no choice but to follow it," adding, "I will state only the facts as they are." She continued, "Don't worry," reassuring fans, while sending a message to the perpetrator: "I'll be watching to see how good your acting is."

The Criminal Division 1 of the Namyangju Branch of the Uijeongbu District Court will hold the third hearing for a man in his 30s, identified as A, who has been indicted and detained on charges of robbery causing injury, on April 21. Nana and her mother are scheduled to appear as witnesses that day, and the testimony will be conducted behind closed doors.

A is accused of breaking into Nana's home in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, last November, threatening her with a weapon, and demanding valuables. Nana and her mother subdued A after a physical struggle, during which both sides were injured.

A claimed financial hardship as his motive and denied any intent to commit robbery, instead filing a countersuit against Nana for attempted murder and aggravated assault. However, police determined Nana's response was legitimate self-defense and closed the case without referral.

Nana is currently pursuing legal action by filing a complaint against A for false accusation.
