Park Eun-young, who shot to fame as the "goddess of Chinese cuisine" on the Netflix cooking survival show Culinary Class Wars, is turning heads again with her witty banter and a major life update.
On the April 2 episode of KBS2's variety show Problem Child in House, Park appears as a guest alongside "baby beast" Kim Si-hyun. The two chefs, both known from 'Culinary Class Wars', inject energy from the opening, ramping up anticipation.
On the show, Park draws laughs over a playful connection with Kim Jong-kook. After revealing she's from Anyang, she tries to join Kim's so-called "Anyang line." Kim welcomes her by swapping "goddess of Chinese cuisine" for the new nickname "goddess of Anyang."
But the mood flips when Park brings up Kim Jong-kook's past and the tongue-in-cheek "Anyang Kim the Axe" legend. As she hints at a "famous local story in Anyang" and piles on exaggerated rumors, Kim looks flustered and clarifies with a laugh that it's "just an old story people pass around."
Park also shares an update on her newly opened restaurant. The moment reservations went live, a flood of people rushed in—filling an entire month’s bookings in a flash. She even recalls thousands of users logging on at the same time right after reservations opened, proving the restaurant’s skyrocketing popularity.
However, she reveals that her mentor, Yeo Kyung-rae, wasn’t thrilled about her opening the place—piquing curiosity about why. The full story will be revealed on air.
Meanwhile, Park Eun-young will tie the knot with her doctor boyfriend in Seoul this May—grabbing attention for winning at both work and love.
