Rainbow’s Go Woori revealed she’s pregnant four years into marriage — and her blunt confession that she goes to the OB-GYN alone is stirring buzz, as she opens up about brutal early symptoms and the realities of married life.
On the 2nd, Go Woori uploaded a video to her YouTube channel announcing her pregnancy. In the clip, she shared, "While preparing for IVF, the baby came at the right time." Now in the early stages of pregnancy, she said she’s going through a rough patch with morning sickness and body changes so intense that even going out has been hard. Describing it as "a 24-hour hangover," she admitted it’s tough, but added, "Having morning sickness actually reassures me that the baby is growing well," showing a positive mindset.
What especially caught attention was that she has been visiting the obstetrician alone. "My husband isn’t the type to actively step into those situations," she explained. "If I drag him along, it might just stress both of us out, so I’m more comfortable going by myself." She added that she got used to solo visits while preparing for IVF. Still, she recalled that her husband joined her on the day they heard the baby’s heartbeat: "The baby was about 1 cm, and he said, 'It’s a bean.'"
Her husband’s first reaction was also strikingly practical. When she initially shared there was a possibility she was pregnant, he told her to stay calm. "Once it was confirmed, he immediately started thinking about realistic plans like moving," she said.
Go Woori married a businessman five years her senior in 2022. Most recently, she appeared on MBC’s variety show 'Radio Star,' where she publicly shared her pregnancy news and received a wave of congratulations from fans.
