Sibling duo AKMU’s newest release is drawing a surge of emotional, viral reactions.

On April 7 at 6 p.m. KST, AKMU dropped their 4th full-length album 'FLOWERING' and officially made their comeback across major music platforms.

Their first studio album in about seven years features 11 tracks total, including the title track 'Joy, Sorrow, A Beautiful Heart' and the pre-release 'Rumored Paradise', as well as 'Spring Colors', 'Let Out the Bugs', 'Sunlight, Bless You' (햇빛 bless you), 'Tent', 'Young Couple', 'The Right Person', 'Elegant Breakfast', 'Festival of Refugees', and 'Stain'.

The title track delivers a calm yet deeply resonant message, opening with lyrics like "After joy comes sorrow / That’s a beautiful heart" and "Don’t push it away, hold it close / It will turn into a very pretty stone." Fittingly, the music video weaves in listeners’ real stories, amplifying the song’s emotional impact.

Comments poured in under the video: "It feels like it’s comforting me after losing my family—tears are falling," "I’m leaving with the strength to live again," "Su-hyun’s voice is pure comfort," "Under a true masterpiece, every comment carries a personal story," and "They clearly came to save people today."

AKMU debuted in 2013 after winning SBS Survival Audition K-pop Star Season 2. Since then, they have earned massive love with hits like 'Last Goodbye', 'How can I love the heartbreak, you’re the one I love', and 'NAKKA'.
