Actor Lee Yu-bi laid bare her inner changes and deepest fears, speaking with striking honesty.
Recently, Lee Yu-bi uploaded a video on her YouTube channel answering questions from fans. In it, she talked about turning points in her life and a shift in her values. Lee said, "Rather than one specific incident, as I entered my 30s my thoughts naturally changed a lot," adding, "Going through the year before last and last year, I realized I had changed quite a bit."
When asked what she fears most in life, Lee chose "losing the people I love and being in pain," revealing heartfelt emotions.
When prompted with what she would do if today were the last day of her life, she couldn’t answer right away. After pausing, she said, "I think I’d be too sad. I’d probably tell the people I’m grateful for, 'Let’s meet again in the next life,'" her eyes welling with tears. Her candid confession, shared as she steadied her emotions, resonated with viewers.
Lee Yu-bi is also known as the daughter of actor Kyeon Mi-ri and the older sister of Lee Da-in. Her younger sister Lee Da-in drew attention in 2023 when she married singer-actor Lee Seung-gi.
Meanwhile, Lee Yu-bi debuted in 2011 through the MBN sitcom Vampire Idol and has continued acting steadily. She will return to viewers in the TVING original drama Yumi's Cells 3, which premieres on the 13th.
