The hit drama that has gripped viewers with intense twists every week is teasing another massive shock.

Im Pil-sung, director of the tvN weekend drama Mad Concrete Dreams (hereafter 'Mad Concrete Dreams'), said, "I hope you don't miss the biggest event of the series in episode 10," sending anticipation for the live broadcast to a fever pitch.

Right now, 'Mad Concrete Dreams' is plunging deeper into an unpredictable swamp as the characters' desires collide. Kim Seon (played by Im Soo-jung), wife of Gi Su-jong (played by Ha Jung-woo), decides to become an accomplice despite knowing her husband's crime to protect their family's future. While trying to cover up a kidnapping, the couple makes a fatal move when tenant Oh Dong-gi (played by Hyun Bong-sik), the owner of the first-floor cafe in Seyoon Building, catches on — they lock him in the basement freezer to silence him. But their plan backfires horrifically when an enraged Oh Dong-gi mistakes intruder Jeon Yang-ja (played by Kim Geum-soon) for Gi Su-jong inside Seyoon Building and kills her.

Amid the spiraling chaos, the suspicious death of realtor Jang Hee-joo (played by Ryu Abel) cranks the tension even higher. Gi Su-jong suspects his estranged friend Min Hwal-seong (played by Kim Jun-han), with whom he clashed over redevelopment shares, as the mastermind. Lacking hard evidence, he ultimately hides Jang Hee-joo's corpse together with his wife Kim Seon.

To make matters worse, Jeon Yi-kyung (played by Jung Soo-jung), wounded and betrayed by the couple, kidnaps their daughter Gi Darae (played by Park Seo-kyung) — a jaw-dropping twist that sends the story into freefall. The brutal struggle of these characters hurtling toward ruin continues on 'Mad Concrete Dreams,' airing every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 p.m. KST.
