A taxi dispute involving TXT’s Soobin during a trip to Cebu has led to official action from Philippine authorities.
In a video uploaded on April 1, Soobin documented a taxi ride from the airport, where the fare was raised multiple times—from an expected 300 pesos to 500, and later to 1,000 pesos during the trip.
After questioning the sudden increase, Soobin ultimately paid 500 pesos before ending the ride.

In response, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) classified the case as a serious violation and imposed a 30-day suspension on the driver. Authorities have also requested further documentation and are reviewing potential additional charges.
