Actors Kim Ji-eun, Cha Hak-yeon, and Park Su-o are joining the cast as Kim Hee-ae’s children in the series.

On the 29th, the production team of JTBC’s new drama gold digger announced the trio’s casting. gold digger is a mystery romance that follows a fatal young man who approaches a successful middle-aged woman, keeping everyone questioning whether it’s true love or an elaborate con.

In the story, Kim Hee-ae plays Min Young-joo, the CEO of a publishing house, while Noh Sang-hyun takes on the role of Jung Jae-hee, a freelance designer. Joining them, Kim Ji-eun, Cha Hak-yeon, and Park Su-o appear as Min Young-joo’s three children, each reacting differently to Jung Jae-hee’s sudden presence by their mother’s side, cranking up the tension.

Kim Ji-eun portrays the eldest daughter, Seo Hyun-seo, a manager on the publishing house’s editorial team. After learning about her mother’s relationship with Jung Jae-hee, she spirals into confusion, revealing a complex mix of worry, resentment, and anger toward her mom.

Cha Hak-yeon plays the eldest son, Seo Hyun-cheol, a PD at a film production company. Feeling betrayed by a father who left his mother lonely, he once turned his back on him—only to be shocked again when a new man appears by his mom’s side.

Park Su-o takes on the role of the youngest son, Seo Hyun-min, who is emotionally volatile and craves affection. Among the three siblings, he responds most sensitively to Jung Jae-hee, becoming the one who shakes Min Young-joo’s heart.
