In a move stirring major buzz, BE'O has left Big Planet Made Entertainment and signed an exclusive deal with Midnight Records.
On May 5, Midnight Records announced via its official social media accounts that it had inked an exclusive contract with BE'O, sharing updates in Korean, English, and Japanese. The label pledged, "We will fully support artist BE'O's new endeavors," raising global fans' expectations.
BE'O debuted in 2020 with the single 'Monster' and made a strong impression on the public by placing third on Mnet's hip-hop audition program 'Show Me The Money 10' the following year. He then released a string of hits, including 'Limousine' and 'Counting Stars,' cementing himself as a standout on the charts.
Until last year, BE'O was signed to Big Planet Made Entertainment, but he notified the company of contract termination, citing issues such as non-payment of settlements, and chose a fresh start. Industry watchers see this move as a bid to rebuild both his musical direction and working environment.
Meanwhile, Midnight Records—the label BE'O has joined—was founded in 2024 by rapper ASH ISLAND and emphasizes an artist-centric musical identity.
