Actress Kang Sung-yeon personally confirmed she has remarried, signaling a fresh start.
According to her agency Dear ENT on the 11th, Kang married a doctor and the couple are raising Kang's two sons together.
Kang also shared multiple photos with her spouse and a heartfelt caption on Instagram, making the news public. She wrote, "Through the long years, I was able to smile because you were there, holding and protecting my aching heart," adding, "Everything I share with you, who gave me the strength and time to live again, feels like a miracle." She continued, "Let's live kindly and peacefully, grounded in deep consideration and trust for each other," expressing deep affection and gratitude toward her husband.
She told fans, "My children and I have built a new family with a truly wonderful person, and we're creating precious laughter and happiness together," and added, "Please understand that I'm only sharing this now because we were cautious in case it caused a stir."
Kang previously married jazz pianist Kim Ga-on in 2012 and had two sons. However, they divorced in December 2023, ten years into the marriage. In January this year, she revealed she was in a relationship, saying, "I met a truly good person who cherishes and loves my children even more than I do, and I'm living happily."
