Actress Choi Ji-woo (51) is mourning the loss of her father.
According to her agency Maykit Studio on the 12th, Choi Ji-woo’s father, Choi Un-yong, passed away on the 11th after a long illness. Choi is said to be keeping vigil at the memorial hall with her family in deep sorrow.
The memorial hall has been set up in the special room of the funeral home at Haeundae Baik Hospital in Haeundae-gu, Busan, and the funeral will be held solemnly at 6 a.m. on the 14th. After a stop at Yeongnak Park Crematorium, the burial will take place at Daejeon National Cemetery.
The deceased was a former soldier and was known for volunteering to bathe seniors with dementia during his lifetime.
Meanwhile, Choi Ji-woo married a businessman nine years her junior in 2018 and welcomed a daughter in May 2020. Most recently, she met audiences through the film Suga.
