Billlie member Tsuki candidly revealed her true feelings about agency head Yoon Jong-shin — and it’s stirring up conversation.
On the May 18 broadcast of the SBS variety show Unbelievable, Tsuki, Oh My Girl’s Mimi, and Kim Ji-yoo appeared as guests and showed off their lively banter.
Under the theme of “the rotten lifeline in my life,” Tsuki mulled over her own example before unexpectedly naming someone, drawing attention. After first showing affection by saying, “Love you, PD!” she pointed to Yoon Jong-shin, the CEO of her agency.
Tsuki noted that Billlie is Mystic Story’s first girl group and explained, “During our promotions, we were often labeled ‘Yoon Jong-shin’s girl group.’ Whenever we went on shows, we’d even hear, ‘Oh, they’re the kids from Jong-shin’s company,’ so our name was always brought up together with the CEO’s image.”
But her next remarks carried a hint of disappointment. Tsuki confessed, “He’s hardly ever personally promoted us on broadcasts or social media,” adding with a laugh, “That’s why I called him a ‘rotten lifeline.’”
Tsuki also opened up about her trainee days in Korea. “I came to Korea at 13, and the language was my biggest hurdle,” she said. “To learn Korean, I cut off contact with my family for about six months and focused solely on studying,” she revealed, surprising viewers.
Meanwhile, Billlie is a seven-member group — Moon Sua, Suhyeon, Haram, Tsuki, Sheon, Siyoon, and Haruna — that debuted in 2021.
