Actress Gong Hyo-jin shocked fans by revealing she’s preparing to move out of the city—and she candidly opened up about past health struggles along the way.

On the 19th, Gong Hyo-jin said on her YouTube channel that she is “getting ready to move,” teasing a new chapter in life. “I thought about heading a little outside the city. I figured it might be more healing,” she explained of the decision. She added about the new space, “I’ll show you myself later,” raising anticipation.

Previously, Gong Hyo-jin revealed her newlywed home, drawing attention for its stylish interior. Recently, however, she admitted the duplex layout has been inconvenient. She once confessed, “After lying down upstairs, if I need water I have to go back down,” saying those everyday hassles piled up.

Gong Hyo-jin also spoke frankly about managing her weight. Currently maintaining about 50–51 kg, she said, “My weight can swing about 600–800 g in a single day.” She recalled that while filming It’s Okay, That’s Love, extreme stress caused her weight to drop dramatically.

“Early in filming, I was in a car accident and my mental state collapsed. Because of the intense stress, I couldn’t eat properly,” she said. “By the time the drama ended, I was down to 44–46 kg,” she recalled. Thinking back to that period, she added, “Even sitting was hard,” underscoring the importance of health.

Meanwhile, Gong Hyo-jin married singer Kevin Oh, who is 10 years younger, in 2022, and she now splits her time between Seoul and New York.
