LE SSERAFIM member Kim Chaewon is temporarily pausing activities due to a health issue.
On the 19th, the group’s label Source Music announced via fan platform Weverse, "Kim Chaewon recently received hospital treatment for pain in her neck area, and doctors advised that she should rest for a certain period while monitoring her recovery." The agency added, "We prioritized the artist’s health and safety. After comprehensively reviewing the medical opinion and Kim Chaewon’s current condition, we determined she needs sufficient time to recover."
As a result, Kim Chaewon will be unable to attend previously scheduled events, including university festivals and music shows. The label asked fans for understanding and noted that future schedules will be adjusted flexibly according to her recovery status.
Source Music concluded, "We will actively support Kim Chaewon so she can focus entirely on recovery," adding, "We will do our best so the artist can return to fans in good health as soon as possible."
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM is set to release their second full-length album 'PUREFLOW pt.1' on the 22nd.
