The noona–younger man romance starring Shin Hye-sun and Gong Myung wrapped to rave reviews, closing with a tightly sealed happy ending.

According to Nielsen Korea on the 1st, the final episode of tvN’s Sat–Sun drama Filing for Love, which aired on the 31st, scored a 10.3% average and 11.3% peak viewership in the Seoul metro area, and a 9.7% average with 10.8% peak nationwide—No. 1 in its time slot across cable and comprehensive channels. Among tvN’s key 20–49 demo, it posted a strong 3.6%, firmly topping all channels including terrestrial networks.

In the finale, Joo In-a (Shin Hye-sun) and Noh Gi-jun (Gong Myung) — who weathered countless crises together — protected their steadfast trust and love, taking a decisive step toward becoming true life partners. Their story, which highlighted the preciousness of ordinary, unremarkable days, delivered warm empathy and butterflies right to the end.

The romance endgame for Joo In-a and Noh Gi-jun — who won at both work and love — was flawless. Rather than being bound by the institution of marriage, the two realized that what mattered most was each other’s very presence. When Joo In-a laid her heart bare, Noh Gi-jun gently replied, "Yeah. Let’s do this — whatever life brings."

Right after the finale, online communities and social media filled with reactions like, "I’m not ready to say goodbye to these two yet," "Gong Myung’s younger-boyfriend charm was insane till the very end," and "This show was my weekend dopamine boost."

Meanwhile, the sweet romance and thrilling office caper of Filing for Love is now available to rewatch on TVING and Wavve.
