This June, a wave of must-watch titles is set to drop — from globally beloved mega-hits to heart-fluttering stories guaranteed to make viewers swoon.
Among them, the undeniable headliner is the Apple TV+ original series Pachinko. Pachinko will take over as the follow-up to Filing for Love, which wraps on the 31st. The slot was originally reserved for Jo Jin-woong’s drama Du Beonjjae Sigeuneol (hereafter ‘Sigeuneol 2’), but with Pachinko newly scheduled in its place, anticipation is surging.
With this move, Pachinko Seasons 1 and 2 are expected to air back-to-back for viewers.
Also returning to the small screen: Kim Yoo-jung, who flawlessly portrayed a sociopath in last year’s TVING original Dear X, and Seo In-guk, widely dubbed the “rom-com king.” With two dramas showcasing their polar-opposite charms on deck, multi-genre fans have plenty to be excited about.
