▲ 2026 Annecy International Animation Film Festival
Dates: June 21–27
In this year’s Midnight Specials short competition at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, director Jeong Hae-ji’s animated film Dinner has been invited. Dinner reimagines the arc of a relationship — from first meeting to breakup — as a tasting-course journey of “appetizer–main–dessert.” Another Korean contender in the same category is director Park Ji-yeon’s A Trip to the Ear, which follows a woman who leaves the floating house she once called home to search for her missing right ear and vanished husband.
