BTS member Jungkook’s social media account was suddenly blocked, sending fans into a panic.
On May 27, Jungkook uploaded a single question mark and a screenshot to his TikTok. The image showed a notice reading “Your account has been suspended,” indicating the account had been temporarily deactivated.
According to the notice, the account was restricted as of May 27, 2026, and could be permanently deleted if no appeal was filed within 180 days. The stated reason cited violations of intellectual property policies, including trademark rules.
Jungkook shared the screen without further explanation, heightening confusion. Fans reacted with comments like “What’s going on?” as concern spread quickly.
Back in February 2023, Jungkook deleted his previous Instagram, which had over 50 million followers. He launched a new account last July to keep communicating with fans.
Fortunately, the account was restored to normal a few hours later, turning the incident into a brief glitch or hiccup.
Meanwhile, BTS once again proved their global impact by winning three trophies, including Artist of the Year, at the American Music Awards in the United States.
