Reports say actor Lee Do-hyun is joining the film Nambeol.

According to Ilgan Sports on the 20th, Lee Do-hyun will appear in Nambeol. Set in early Joseon, the hard-boiled martial-arts action film follows nine warriors—each with different ranks and skills—as they head to Tsushima (Daemado) to rescue captives abducted by Japanese pirates.

Earlier reports said Lee Byung-hun would lead as the warriors’ commander, while Go Youn-jung would play a female warrior on a mission to save her brother. If confirmed, this would be Lee Do-hyun’s first time working with Lee Byung-hun, and his third collaboration with Go Youn-jung after Death's Game and Sweet Home.

Netizens are already reacting: "Great casting," "Go Youn-jung and Lee Do-hyun are reuniting," and "An action film? I’m hyped."

Meanwhile, Nambeol is slated to start filming in the second half of this year and is currently deep in pre-production.
