The group TOURS has been selected as the official ambassador for the Korea Football Association (KFA).
On the 2nd, their agency, Pledis Entertainment, announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Football Association. Through this agreement, TOURS will serve as a bridge connecting Korean football and K-pop ahead of the 2026 FIFA North & Central America World Cup.
TOURS will participate in the content creation of the Korea Football Association and will engage in various promotional activities that connect football fans and the public. Member Do-hoon expressed, "I’m honored to be active as an ambassador for the Korea Football Association, having enjoyed football since I was eight years old," adding, "I’m very happy to support as a Korean football fan up close."
TOURS' first schedule as official ambassadors will be a halftime performance at an A-match. They will perform during the halftime show of the friendly match between the national teams of Korea and Brazil, which will be held on the 10th at Seoul World Cup Stadium.
Debuting in January 2023, TOURS has been loved for songs like "The First Meeting Did Not Go as Planned" and "If I’m S, You Be My N." They are set to release their fourth mini-album, "Play Hard," on the 13th.
