Actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin have once again given back.
The couple recently donated 200 million KRW to Samsung Medical Center, drawing widespread attention. The funds will support treatment costs for pediatric and low-income patients. Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin shared a short message of intent: "We hope it helps, even a little."
They have continued to donate every year. At the end of last year, they shared warmth by donating a total of 300 million KRW—150 million KRW each—to Asan Medical Center and Samsung Medical Center.
Their move keeps a star-studded donation relay going. After tying the knot following a long relationship, Shin Min-a and Kim Woo-bin also made a positive impact by contributing a total of 300 million KRW across the Hallym Burn Foundation, Seoul Asan Hospital, and several charities.
Since 2009, Shin Min-a has steadily given back, with a particular focus on supporting marginalized burn patients. For the past 11 years, Kim Woo-bin has also continued donations for children with pediatric cancer and underprivileged communities, and he has not hesitated to give during social disasters.
These acts of kindness are not one-off gestures but sustained giving that sets an example for many.
