NCT member Jisung marked his birthday with a meaningful act of kindness.
On February 5, Samsung Medical Center announced that Jisung donated 250 million KRW (approximately $190,000) to celebrate his birthday.
The donation will support pancreatic cancer research. Samsung Medical Center stated that it plans to further advance research into hard-to-treat diseases, including personalized medicine in the pancreatic cancer field.
Jisung said, "Thanks to the love and support from the NCTzen fandom, I was able to take part in giving back," adding, "It may be a small contribution, but I hope it helps medical research so that many people can live happy lives without pain."
Previously, in March last year, Jisung donated 50 million KRW (approximately $38,000) to the Community Chest of Korea to support wildfire relief in the Yeongnam region.
