Rapper B.I, formerly of the group iKON, will begin his mandatory service as a social service worker.

On March 10, B.I’s agency 131 announced, "To fulfill his duty as a citizen of the Republic of Korea, B.I will begin his alternative service as a social service worker starting March 16." The agency added that there will be no official event on his enlistment day and asked fans to refrain from visiting his workplace.

B.I debuted with iKON in 2015. After leaving the team in 2019, he has been actively pursuing a solo career and has been recognized for his musical talents.

The agency added, "We will support B.I so he can faithfully carry out his responsibilities as a social service worker, and we thank fans for their understanding and continued support."
