JTBC’s weekend drama Efficient matchmaking for singles is rapidly gaining popularity.

According to ratings tracker Nielsen Korea, JTBC’s Efficient matchmaking for singles (hereafter ‘Singles’) has posted steady week-to-week growth in viewership. It also grabbed 5th place on the TV drama buzz rankings released by FUNdex, the K-content competitiveness index from Good Data Corporation, sparking even more attention.

Han Ji-min’s turn as lead Lee Ui-young — and her bold “inmanchu” quest (actively engineering arranged meetups) — is a major hit, powering the ratings climb.

Viewers are hooked on everything from why Lee Ui-young dives into blind dates to how she gets entangled with Song Tae-seop (played by Park Sung-hoon) and Shin Ji-soo (played by Lee Ki-taek).
Meanwhile, ‘Singles’ is based on the Naver Webtoon ‘Efficient matchmaking for singles’ (by author Tari). It airs every Saturday at 10:40 p.m. and Sunday at 10:30 p.m. on JTBC, and is also available exclusively on OTT platform TVING.
