Shocking new report: Actor Kim Ji-yeon (WJSN’s Bona) and Park Seo-ham are set to team up in a fantasy romance.
According to an iMBC Entertainment report on March 11, the two are reportedly joining the K-Drama Dive Into You.
Dive Into You is a fantasy romantic comedy about top-tier A‑list actress Yoon Hana (played by Kim Ji-yeon) who travels back to the past after an accident and fights to prevent the death of her first love, Park Yoon-jae (played by Park Seo-ham). With a twist that sees the heroine returning in her twin brother’s body to rewrite fate, the series promises an intriguing blend of romance and fantasy.
Kim Ji-yeon’s character, Yoon Hana, is a wildly successful actress whose life is upended by an unexpected accident. After going back in time, she drives the story as she digs into the truth behind the incident to save her first love.
Park Seo-ham has reportedly been offered the role of Park Yoon-jae, Yoon Hana’s childhood friend and bodyguard. Known for his cool judgment and imposing physique, he’s set to embody a steadfast, pure-hearted protector who has stayed by Hana’s side since they were young.
Kim Ji-yeon debuted with the group WJSN (Cosmic Girls) and has expanded her acting career through dramas like Twenty-Five Twenty-One, Joseon Attorney, and The Haunted Palace. Park Seo-ham, formerly of KNK, drew major attention with Semantic Error and is currently showing the textbook “second male lead” charm in Our Universe.
Dive Into You is a Korea–Japan co-production, and all eyes are on the explosive synergy the two idol-turned-actors—now firmly established as leading stars—are expected to deliver.
