Actor Seo Hyun-woo is making waves with a shocking transformation, appearing back-to-back in ENA dramas and returning as a gripping villain.
After perfectly pulling off a chilling antagonist in ENA’s Monday–Tuesday drama Honour, which wrapped on the 10th, he will make a special appearance in the drama 'Climax'.
Climax follows prosecutor Bang Tae-seop (played by Joo Ji-hoon), who dives into a cartel to seize Korea’s highest seat of power, and the fierce survival game among those around him. In the series, Seo Hyun-woo plays Oh Gwang-jae, a once-dominant, big-league film producer who used to rule Chungmuro, Korea’s film industry hub.
Oh Gwang-jae will stop at nothing to succeed, maneuvering ruthlessly among political and business heavyweights. In particular, his tight entanglement with Ha Ji-won’s character, Choo Sang-ah, is set to crank up the show’s tension as a key driver of the plot.
What fans are most eager to see is Seo Hyun-woo’s new face—an actor who erases himself and fully becomes the character every time. Through Oh Gwang-jae, he plans to unveil a different, finely tuned intensity and inject a strange, simmering suspense into the drama.
Meanwhile, Climax premieres on the 16th at 10 p.m. on ENA. It will also be available on Genie TV and Disney+.
