BTS is launching an offline pop-up store.
Label BIGHIT MUSIC announced on the 13th that it will host 'BTS POP-UP : ARIRANG' from the 20th through April 12 at HYBE HQ in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and at The Heritage inside the Shinsegae Department Store Main Branch.
Advance reservations open today (the 13th) at 5 p.m. via the Weverse fan community and will be released in stages across three weeks.
This pop-up reinterprets the Korean aesthetics embedded in the new album 'Arirang' with a modern touch. As you enter, a large installation visualizing the album title 'Arirang' and a Big Dipper motif engraved on the floor greet visitors. Concept photos, LPs, and physical albums are also displayed throughout the space.
At Shinsegae’s Main Branch, visitors can experience a variety of interactive content tied to the new album concept. 'ARIRANG MEARI' lets you choose a word that represents identity and roll it across a tabletop as a hands-on experience. A digital program will also help guests create personalized graphic images.
The pop-up features an 'Arirang' album exhibition and official merchandise, with special attention on collaborative items made with 'MU:DS', the product brand of the Korea National Museum Foundation. These pieces reinterpret traditional patterns and ornaments found on actual artifacts in a contemporary way, enhancing their collectability.
On the 21st, an on-site pickup service will operate for people visiting Gwanghwamun Square to watch 'BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG'. Fans who purchase items through Weverse Shop within a 10 km radius of the venue on the day of the event can collect their orders at designated pickup points near the site.
Meanwhile, BTS’s full-length album 'Arirang' drops at 1 p.m. on the 20th (KST).
