Actor Kim Hwan-hee, well known for the film The Wailing, is making a small-screen comeback.
On the 17th, reports confirmed that Kim Hwan-hee will star in ENA’s new drama scarecrow.
Scheduled to air in the first half of 2026, scarecrow is a crime investigation thriller about a detective tracking a string of serial murders who teams up with someone he finds hard to work with to crack the case. In the series, Kim Hwan-hee plays Min-ji, an ordinary high school student who loves to draw, signaling a powerful on-screen presence. As Min-ji stands at the center of the show’s major incidents, anticipation is growing for Kim’s bold acting transformation.
Meanwhile, alongside Kim Hwan-hee, powerhouse actors Park Hae-soo, Lee Hee-joon, Kwak Sun-young, and Song Geon-hee are set to appear, heightening expectations. The series will premiere on ENA in the first half of 2026 and will also be available on KT Genie TV.
