Singer and actress Kim Sejeong is ending her 10-year partnership with Jellyfish Entertainment and embarking on a new chapter.
On the 23rd, Jellyfish Entertainment announced in an official statement: "After careful discussions, our company and Kim Sejeong have agreed to conclude the journey we have shared over the past 10 years and terminate her exclusive contract."
The agency added, "The time we walked together, built on deep trust and affection, was filled with irreplaceable moments. We will cherish Kim Sejeong’s passion and hard work, and all the memories created together with fans, for a long time."
Kim Sejeong first rose to fame under Jellyfish Entertainment by appearing on Mnet’s Produce 101 Season 1 in 2016, debuting as part of the group I.O.I. After the group’s official promotions ended, she continued with activities in gugudan and pursued diverse projects as a solo singer and actress.
