Virtual group OWIS is officially stepping into the K-pop scene.
On the 23rd at 6 p.m. KST, OWIS will release their first mini album 'MUSEUM' across major online music platforms.
OWIS stands for 'Only When I Sleep', meaning 'you can only meet them in your dreams'. The album gathers and "exhibits" precious fragments of memories and feelings we may have forgotten. The title track 'MUSEUM' is a medium-tempo song highlighted by a gentle guitar riff. Member Summer took part in writing the lyrics, lyrically tracing the journey of finding one’s own light in a world that unfolds while asleep.
The album features eight tracks in total: 'airplane:143', 'juicy', 'missing piece', 'lonely lullaby', 'ONLY WHEN I SLEEP', 'forNEVER', the title track 'MUSEUM', and 'MUSEUM (Eng Ver.)'.
To celebrate their debut, OWIS will host a live show titled 'Welcome to MUSEUM' on their official YouTube channel at 8 p.m. today, and they will run a pop-up store at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido through April 5.
OWIS is the first team launched by ama (all my anecdotes), a new entertainment company founded by creative director Haein Lee, who gained recognition after appearing on Mnet’s survival program Produce 101 in 2016.
