Actors Lee Young-ae and Yoo Ji-tae will reunite after 25 years in the new 2026 drama Jae-i's Yeong-in.

According to IWill Media on the 23rd, the two stars will headline Jae-i's Yeong-in, marking their first project together since the film One Fine Spring Day and promising fresh on-screen synergy.

This mystery melodrama follows a man and a woman who carry similar scars as they learn how to live again together. Lee Young-ae plays Joo Yeong-in, an art teacher and painter living with the grief of losing her son. Unable to sleep, she keeps herself going by painting murals before dawn, embodying a character who is both strong and fragile.

Yoo Ji-tae transforms into Shin Jae-i, the head of an architecture firm, whose bright demeanor masks a void caused by dissociative amnesia. As hidden truths surface, he spirals into confusion and cracks begin to show. Known for his wide range and depth, Yoo is expected to deliver another standout performance.

The series is directed by Oh Ki-hwan of the film The Art of Seduction, with a script by writer Jo Eun-jung of Hotel King, Feast of the Gods. Meanwhile, Jae-i's Yeong-in is targeting a 2026 premiere and is in talks for scheduling with major broadcasters.
