Actor Ji Chang Wook is making his big-screen comeback with the film colony, and fans can’t stop raving about his stunning visuals.

On the 2nd, Showbox drew attention by dropping character stills of Choi Hyun-seok, played by Ji Chang Wook, in colony. Ji portrays Choi Hyun-seok, a security team staff member at the Dunguri Building. Amid a sudden outbreak, he fights to protect his beloved family. His older sister, Choi Hyun-hee (played by Kim Shin-rok), has a lower-body disability, so Hyun-seok carries her on a camping pack frame to keep her safe.

The released stills capture heart-pounding moments: leading the way with a pole to shield people, bravely facing infected individuals alone, and fixing his eyes on the CCTV monitors with razor focus. As a security team member who knows the building inside out, he raises curiosity about how he’ll navigate the escalating crisis.

Speaking about the project, Ji Chang Wook said, "A key hook is how the infected change and how the survivors adapt and respond," adding, "It’s going to be a gripping new film that’s both thrilling and intensely suspenseful."

Fan excitement is soaring, with some reacting, "We are blessed to behold Ji Chang Wook’s face," and "A feast for the eyes—zombies and an actor’s visuals all in one."

Meanwhile, colony is slated to hit theaters in May. The film follows survivors trapped inside a sealed-off building as they battle evolving infected amid a mysterious outbreak.
