Shocking: Three fans fell during Super Junior’s 20th‑anniversary world tour encore show in Seoul.
On April 5 at Seoul’s KSPO DOME, the final day of the group’s ‘SUPER SHOW 10 SJ - CORE in SEOUL’ took place.
At the venue, fans standing along a railing surged forward to see the artists and fell.
Regarding the incident, SM Entertainment stated on the 6th, "A side safety fence we installed collapsed, causing three spectators to fall and sustain injuries. The injured were immediately transported to the hospital for necessary tests and treatment, and medical staff advised approximately two weeks of rest and care for sprains and contusions."
They added, "We will support treatment so the injured fans can make a full recovery and will do our utmost until they are completely healed." The company continued, "As the event organizer, we fully recognize our responsibility for this incident and will thoroughly conduct facility safety inspections and strengthen crowd safety management to prevent any recurrence."
Meanwhile, starting with the Seoul show last August, Super Junior has toured 17 cities across Asia and Latin America, including Hong Kong, Jakarta, Manila, and Mexico City, for their 20th‑anniversary world tour.
