A hard-hitting action K-drama has roared back with even fiercer fistfights — and it’s already storming the global charts.
On the 6th, OTT rankings tracker FlixPatrol reported that Netflix’s Bloodhounds Season 2 (hereafter Bloodhounds 2) placed No. 2 worldwide in the TV Shows category. It also clinched No. 1 in several countries, including Korea, Vietnam, Türkiye, Thailand, Oman, and Morocco. After its April 3 premiere, the series first took No. 1 in two countries and then, in just two days, surged to the top spot in 12 markets.
The drama follows Geon-woo (played by Woo Do-hwan) and Woo-jin (Lee Sang-yi) after they wipe out a ruthless illegal loan-sharking ring, as they take on a global underground boxing league ruled by money and violence — landing another brutally satisfying straight hook. As a genre-driven action piece, it has been a fan favorite since Season 1 among viewers who crave adrenaline-fueled fights.
Since Season 2 dropped, viewers have reacted: "This is definitely heading to Season 3," "An action masterclass," and "The cameo lineup is stacked," among many other comments.
Meanwhile, since its April 3 release, Bloodhounds 2 has been gripping global fans with cathartic, high-impact action performances.
