Kangin is preparing to return to music after several years away from the spotlight.

On April 6, he shared a video titled “Kangin’s Self Interview” on his YouTube channel, where he revealed plans for his upcoming single ‘LOVE IS PAIN.’

In the video, he reflected on his time away, saying, “It’s been a long time since I’ve greeted you,” and expressed gratitude to fans who have continued to support him.

He also mentioned that during a recent fan meeting tour stop in the Philippines, he previewed part of the track, even though it was not yet complete.

Kangin added, “The fact that I can sing again and release music is all thanks to you,” promising to return with a better version of himself.

Despite the announcement, public reaction remains divided. Kangin, who debuted with Super Junior in 2005, stepped away from the group in 2019 following controversies including drunk driving and an assault-related incident.

Since launching his YouTube channel in 2023, he has gradually resumed communication with fans.
