A safety incident occurred during Super Junior’s 20th-anniversary concert, drawing attention to how members responded in the aftermath.
At the April 5 show held at Seoul’s KSPO Dome, a safety fence near the seating area collapsed during the encore, causing three fans to fall.
Reports later surfaced that Ryeowook, along with fellow member Siwon, immediately checked on the injured fans and accompanied them during their transfer to a nearby hospital. Additional accounts claimed they stayed to monitor the situation.
Fans responded positively, with comments such as “They handled it well” and “They did the right thing.”
Meanwhile, SM Entertainment stated that the injured fans were diagnosed with sprains and contusions and advised to rest for about two weeks. The company also apologized and said it will strengthen safety measures to prevent similar incidents.
