Actors Go Soo and Seo Ji-hye are teaming up in one project.
On the 9th, OTT platform Wavve unveiled the release date and poster for its original series Reverse.
Reverse is a mystery revenge thriller about Myo-jin (played by Seo Ji-hye), who loses her memory after a suspicious explosion at a chaebol family’s private villa and, while trying to recover her missing past, uncovers ominous clues surrounding her fiancé Joon-ho (played by Go Soo) and the shocking truth behind the case.
Based on the audio movie of the same name released in 2022, the new adaptation expands the 'amnesia' premise into an eight-episode drama. Led by Seo Ji-hye and Go Soo, seasoned actors including Kim Jae-kyung, Lim Won-hee, Lee Hyun-kyung, Choi Moo-sung, and Shim Hyung-tak join the cast to deliver intense on-screen synergy.
The core hook is the twist-filled narrative hinted at by the title Reverse. The main poster’s tagline, "Erased memories, a flipped truth—trust no one," paired with Seo Ji-hye and Go Soo’s contrasting expressions, sets a taut, nerve-wracking tone.
The newly released teaser further details the aftermath of the accident. When Myo-jin asks, "What happened to me?" Joon-ho replies, "Do you remember? We’re engaged," adding a chilling sense of pressure. As the story unfolds, Joon-ho’s true colors emerge while Myo-jin pieces together fragments of memory, pulling viewers toward the truth.
Promising unpredictable twists and jaw-dropping reveals, Reverse premieres worldwide on Wavve on the 17th.
