Announcer Kwak Min-sun declared she will take legal action against the spread of false information and malicious posts circulating online and on social media. On the 14th, her agency Starit Entertainment stated, "We are vigorously pursuing all possible legal measures against illegal acts such as false information, threats, malicious posts and comments, defamation, insults, and invasion of privacy that are spreading via online platforms, social media, and various communities."

According to the agency, they are continuously gathering evidence through an in-house monitoring system and tips from fans, and have already initiated legal proceedings against multiple posts and their authors. The agency emphasized, "We are identifying the writers and will hold them accountable without exception, including those who hide behind anonymity." 

Earlier, through her personal Instagram, Kwak revealed she has been suffering from malicious DMs and threats, saying, "After the free agency (FA) issue, rumors and a 'traitor' narrative formed, and I even received murder threats." She added that she is filing criminal complaints over the ongoing threats, mockery, severe profanity, and sexual harassment, drawing significant attention.

Kwak Min-sun began her career as an announcer in 2016 and has been active in sports and esports broadcasting. Her husband, Song Min-kyu, is currently a footballer for FC Seoul.
