Wanna One are officially reuniting—and this time, fans won’t have to wait long to see them together again.
On April 1, Mnet announced that Wanna One Go: Back to Base will hold an opening ceremony on April 6 at Sangam DMC Culture Park in Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event will be open to the public, with no pre-registration required, making it a rare, accessible chance for fans to be part of the moment.
More than just a reunion announcement, the event is designed to bring fans directly into the experience. From April 1 to 3, viewers can submit questions through a Q&A segment, with selected entries set to be featured during the on-site program and broadcast.
The teaser for Wanna One Go: Back to Base captures the members—Kang Daniel, Park Ji-hoon, Bae Jin-young, Ha Sung-woon, Ong Seong-wu, Hwang Min-hyun, Park Woo-jin, Yoon Ji-sung, Lee Dae-hwi, and Kim Jae-hwan—reflecting on their early days while showing the chemistry that hasn’t faded with time.
Formed in 2017 through Produce 101 Season 2, Wanna One quickly became one of K-pop’s defining project groups, powered by hits like ‘Energetic’ and ‘Beautiful.’ Though their official activities ended in 2019, the group’s impact—and fan demand—never really disappeared.
So when news of the reunion dropped, reactions followed instantly: disbelief, nostalgia, and overwhelming excitement. For many fans, this isn’t just a comeback—it’s a moment they’ve been holding onto for years.
Wanna One Go: Back to Base is set to premiere on April 28.
