BTS continues to dominate the U.S. charts, proving the staying power of their latest release.
According to Billboard’s charts dated April 11, the title track ‘Swim’ from BTS’s fifth studio album ‘Arirang’ ranked No. 2 on the Hot 100.
After debuting at No. 1 the previous week, the track remains firmly in the top tier, while also holding No. 1 on Digital Song Sales for a second consecutive week.
The album ‘Arirang’ is also maintaining its global momentum. It stayed at No. 1 on both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts for two straight weeks—marking the first time a K-pop act has achieved this feat.
Written by RM, ‘Swim’ draws a parallel between life’s hardships and crashing waves, delivering a message about resilience and moving forward. The album carries additional significance as BTS’s first full-group release in three years and nine months.
Meanwhile, BTS will kick off their ‘Arirang’ world tour at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium from April 9 to 12.
